Roser López Espinosa
After her studies in MTD / High School of Arts of Amsterdam, her scholarship at danceWEB from Impulstanz in Viena and her training with former Olympic gymnastics trainer Jaume Miró, she works with choreographers Àngels Margarit, Cesc Gelabert, Pere Faura, Iago Pericot and film maker Isaki Lacuesta in Barcelona, and with Katie Duck and Marta Reig Torres in The Netherlands, among others.
Her work as a maker has received international recognition with several prizes (The lizard's skin is awarded Solo First Prize at Masdanza in 2006, among others) and is regularly present at international stages with the pieces Lowland, November or Hand to hand. In 2017 she creates L'estol, a large format piece for the National Dance Production of Catalonia. She is invited as a guest choreographer at international dance companies such as Conny Jansen Danst (The Netherlands) and Skånes Dansteater (Sweden). She is also a guest teacher at international dance centres, and she collaborates with circus companies such as Circ Pànic (Catalonia) and XY (France). Roser López Espinosa is an associated artist at creation centre La Caldera and a resident artist in theater Mercat de les Flors 2018-20 in Barcelona.
Born in 1991, Nitzan grew up in Hod HaSharon, Israel, where she began her dance training at the municipal ballet center and at HaRishonim middle school. She continued her dance studies at the Mosinzon high school complemented by after-hours training at the Steps school for performing arts and the Rose K. Sobel studio. Her IDF service as an outstanding dancer included one year internship with the BatSheva Ensemble and later pursuing her career further she worked with choreographers Roy Assaf and Odelia Kupferberg. In 2014, Nitzan joined the Vertigo Dance Company.
